Welcome to Shut Up & Write Tuesdays,
a virtual writing workshop for academic folk,
created by Associate Professor Siobhan O’Dwyer.
From 2013 to 2018, we helped PhD students, early career researchers, and established academics set aside dedicated writing time, make progress, learn from others, and become part of an international community of academic writers.
We no longer run sessions, but don’t despair! There are Shut Up & Write groups all over the world. To learn more and find a group near you, check out Shut Up & Write.
Hi there,
I was wondering how to join the class online?
Best,
Crystal Williams (cairns jcu PhD)
Hi Crystal, Please read the ‘About’ of our website page for all the details of how to get involved.
Crystal, how goes your thesis writing? Would you be interested in a local Reading Group gathering weekly or fortnightly? I’m at Kewarra
Retired now I have been working on a biography of SCotUS-CJ Roger Taney (of Dred Scott fame) for five years, 90% of that performing the research and forming how to present what I want to say. My dread is making my writing an ‘orphan through abandonment.’
This SUWTues is an excellent idea.
Thank you so much, donl
I’ll be using this starting in May!
I have just joined and hope to see others in the next SUW on Tues. I also write legal history as. PhD student in DC area.
